Default heat sheild

umm well i looked at my heat sheild today because i bored so anyway i see a crack on it where the 2 top bolts hold on to it and then i figure i take it off and inspect it....heh the crack is open little and can see through. so is this normal when i looked at my headers i see no sign of crack just the heat sheild

so the heat shield is cracked, the bolt holes are cracked, or your header is cracked?

i am sorry for the misunderstood, but what i am saying i saw my heat shield is cracked alittle where u put 2 bolts on top of the heat shield and that area where u bolt it in is cracked. and i am sayiong the heat shield itself is little bit cracked and is that normal for 13 year old heat sheild ?

i anit buying a new 1 lol it cracked oka but it anit cracked bad to fall off just yet.

okay here is a better question since this one was a sort of pointless

I have a type R header on my EF

and wondering where I can get a top heat sheild and a scape plate or just the plate really as my header sits low

please point me in the right direction

now that is a great Idea might just make some from material at work

got me a co worker that can make all sort of stuff on a lathe or cnc machine
