Default building my h22

i want to build my bottom end and i need to know exactly each part i will need to do so... and also do you guys know of any sites where i can get good prices... my plans are to run about 8psi daily and go up to about 15-17psi at the track... i do know that the h22 has to be sleeved first, but can you just buy sleeves or do you have to ship the block out to get it sleeved?

you can buy the sleeves first and then have a machine shop install them but the problem is finding a local machine that you trust. otherewise you have to send it out to a more reputable machine shop...

you should just take it to a local shop and let them deal with it so you don;t risk cheaping out on a key part or parts. there is a lot of research invovled in this

pistons, rods, all new bearings, sleeves, micropolish crank, balance and blue print bottom end, all new bottom end gaskets, head gasket, head studs & main studs

I think that's it

i would reccomend if you dont know what you need, then you probably should have a shop do it for you...not to be mean but it may be cheaper in the long run

anyways...we boosted my friends h22 18psi for years b4 he was going 9500rpms(stock motor) in 3rd and hit 2nd...lol damn accord trans

he was on a 50trim and propane inection...h22 is closed deck so no worries of sleves moving...as long as you dont detonate stock bottom end is just fine

micropolishing the crank isn't needed though IMO.
