Default Quick Release steering wheel for anti-theft....

If you were a thief would it deter you from stealing a car if it had no steering wheel in it? When i go to school everyday from 7:00am to 12:00 i worry alot about theft. Since my car has been broken into in the parking lot. I have kill switches and a good alarm and my car is gutted with no stereo or big tach. I just don't want my car jack cuz it's all i got and i'm not in a financial position to buy a devoted daily driver.

Basically do you think it's worth it to get a quick release and a sexy new wheel to put your hands on every day and would it in any way shape or form make it not worth it to try to steal this car in broad day light?

I think a lot of thiefs would be deturred from stealing your car if it didnt have a steering wheel, unless...... they bring there own steering wheel???

Alot of cars today are getting jacked by Flat bed trucks.
I think a steering wheel, w/ alarm, etc. will def. help or put a stop to it.

IMO, if you don't have a steering wheel in there, the theives will think there is more worth stealing out of your car.

I def think the quick release helps but I have one so I should say that... I think the longer it takes someone the less inclined they would be to take your shizz. It also depends if you park in a secure parking lot too as opposed to parkin on the street. I relocated my trunk releases, kill switches, and steering wheel release.

I think all come in handy if you always remember to take your wheel, take the face off your stereo, never leave anything in plain view in your car, etc...

Of course they could flatbed it and I suppose the could use the vise grip thing (good luck driving past a cop with no wheel haha) Thats why you should have good insurance too, thats a really good idea. TAKE pictures of everything you have in your car and have receipts then you can turn that in to your insurance and yer set.. just make sure you have that insured.

The school did nothing when my car was broken into. Lets just say i was pissed. Just like the cops did nothing. I don't have full coverage so it was a total loss.

Dent's can be fixed, but if the car is gone then there is no re-building it. I started this project and i'm damn well going to finish it as long as it takes me. I love my teg!
