Default ?????----------- 57 trim or 50 trim --------?

i just plotted ghetto style a lil bit. 5-8k. There's a semi-used 50 trim t3/t4 local for 300 bucks. or i can get a 57 trim for 400 bucks brand new. not sure which i should go for. the 50 trim map actually looks better than the 57 trim so i think i just might go ahead and buy the 50 trim

forgot to add that the 50 trim is local, but it's missing the hotside. They said they would put a .48 ar on for free. I'm still wary about not having a "new" turbo.

50trim

best street turbo imho

I run 22psi on pump gass i have ran up to 26psi on pump gass...and the damn car wanted more timming....my buddy runs 28 all day long on pump gass with his 50trim on his dsm...but i would not reccomed running higher boost without an ems, i did 456rwhp 411rwtq(mr2 baby) on my 50trim on 22psi i was quite happy
I have 22psi at 3300rpm

With 94 octane and not much timing on a low compression, remember 1g dsms are 7.8:1, 28psi with good tuning on say an EMS is possible.

that makes sense. but still, 28 psi on a 50 trim is ALOT of boost.

haha, you silly ricer kids and your big turbos perhaps dante should post his dyno sheet on here and show everyone how you can make over 300whp when you're no where near the compressor map of a large turbo

no misprint.....people tell me all the time it cannot be done...he also run 1800+ egts people say that melts your motor....well if you understand how to tune your ems and have some hefty ***** then you can do whatever you want

the compressor map on the 50trim is quite impressive, its good for 28psi @8500rpms on my 3sgte, and with 22psi pump gass my total timming is 22-24 degrees...i have been so impressed with this turbo...dsm'ers have been usuing it for years

i would go 50trim over 57, the 57 will make more hp with less boost however, it dosnt spool as well, and its compressor map isnt as impressive i think its out of efficeny on my mr2 at 22psi or something

anyways have fun boosting 50trim is the best street turbo in the world
