Default 87 running very rich drivin by a idiot

uhh HI

first let me say that i'm a civic / crx guy and know nothing about accords

i have a school project to fix a running rich 87 accord it's A/F is like ~19 and it wont pass smog b/c of it.

i dont know how to check codes on this car. hell i dont know where the computer is is it a LED on the computer like a civic is? what are the codes?

i realy need this grade plz a civic guy out

the a/f is ~19? i think you need to pay more attention in class, because that's extremely lean buddy, not rich.

i'm sorry typo it was ~9 not 19 i was think of 19 when i typed it out no it was ~9 i'm sure of it

also spark plug form the clyinders #1 & 4 had heavy amounts of fuel / carbon on them and #2 & 3 were white. FYI

do compression check, and check injectors maybe they cant close all the way, plug wireing ect, trial and error is th ebest way The ecu should be under the passenger side carpet. dunno how to check codes on that old a car.

we checked the injectors and all are getting 3 - 4 milla sec and fuel presure is ~37 PSI stuck injectors might be a cause i'll ckeck that tomaro

do u mean the footwell like on a civic? becouse that's the first place i looked and not there if you ment under the passenger seat nothing but the sunroof relays and 2 tiny control boxes no ECU.

i have an 87 auto and the ecu is on the passanger side up under the seat but i also have an 88 stick shift and its under the driver seat inclosed in a plastic box
