Default Tranny wont shift after 5k rpm.. possible problems?

Hey guys,
I have a 95 ls teg with a jdm b18c1 swap. I have a hyrdo jspec lsd tranny that came with the swap and lately i have been having alot of trouble shifting. At idle i can go through the gears except reverse no problem. As i speed up and the rpm's increase it's harder and harder to get into the next gear and after about 5500 rpms it barely goes in at all. It doesnt ALWAYS grind when i try to force it, but it just wont go in no matter how hard i push the shifter. It seems to get worse the longer i drive it. I mean, when i first start the car it doesnt seem as bad, but after about 30 min of driving its like i can feel it being difficult even at 3k rpms.
I have never had a clutch go bad before so i dont know the symptoms... does this usually mean that the clutch is bad or pressure plate or something? Is there anything that is known to go bad on this tranny that i should think about before i rip it out and start trying to figure out wat is going on?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated
thanks alot

even if it was a sudden thing? It doesnt slip at all either, just wont go into gear.

update: I let a friend test drive it bc he is buyin the car... he beat the hell out of it and now it goes into all the gears except when above 5k it grinds 3rd. The clutch also seems to have lost a bit of power and the tranny fluid is darker. I was concerned about this bc its dirty im afraid that something is rubbing and causing debris. any thoughts????

umm we swapped a gsr in a hatch and it did this also...but wouldnt shift above 3k rpms...and then started not letting us shift at all...so i put a new master cyl on...no help(his was leaking) i adjusted the clutch to engage at the very top still kind-of shifft to shift...I put atf fluid in the trans and the stopped going into gear...so i shut it off and put in gear with cluth in...and it would die...so i fired up and reved her to 8k and then she shifted fine...a bolt of something came lose inside there...you can hear it rattle and i'll have to pull the trans this week...but for right now it shifts like new

good luck

This is the car that I posted about previously. I'm the buyer...
Honestly .. it grinded into 3rd and 4th only and only when taching it out doing full WOT runs. I shift it slower but it still grinded.
Id guess it was possibly linkage or the shift fork?
The clutch grabs fine tho ... doesnt slip in 5th when you floor it and it can make the tires chirp HARD when you shift hard from 1-2 at 3500rpm.
Just some more info that might help.
