Default My Turbo LS

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, and just wanted to send a shout out. I found this board when I was installing the turbo in my car. It helped out quite a bit. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=635014

I figured it was time to post something. The car I have is a '93 Civic EX coupe. I put a '95 JDM B18b (no numbers at the end) and it's stock. I got a '98 USDM LS tranny, and I put in a Comp. Clutch Stage 4 plate and disc. (not too streetable, I don't recommend this for a daily driver) Anyway, I then added a DRAG 3 kit with front mount. I have a Thermal R&D 3" cat back (with no cat) and a 3" down pipe. I'm supposed to boost around 7 psi, but I still haven't worked out all the kinks. It'll boost about 4 or 5 psi most of the time. I run stock tuning ( I know, I know, I'm just broke right now) with the Vortech FMU only. I'm still running aquarium check valves (6 of them) and I still throw a CEL at the top end of 4th. Which makes the car start running really rich, and shitty.

Anyway, it pulls pretty hard, and I took it to the track once. It ran 14.3 at it's fastest. I gotta explain this though: I was running shitty bald Goodyear's on Stock 14" steelies. My 60' were around 2.6 sec. But, my trap speed was still 104-107 mph.... so I figure, if I get my 60's down, it'll run easy 13's. (BTW, full interior)

I was only able to run 3 times though, cause I blew a fitting off my motor on my fastest run. (the brass "T" that Autometer gives you to tie into your oil pressure to hook up their oil press gauge - it exploded out of the block, and all my oil shot everywhere. Luckily I noticed it, and shut the car down. No damage happened.... whew!) I remote located the oil press sending unit to the frame rail, and I'm doing a lot better.

Future plans are: Apex-i AVC-R, and my shop is gonna hook me up on a Hondata stand alone. I also am gonna put it in the shop to get the paint and body work done. Get rid of the body kit front, and put on the stock bumpers. Slap on a carbon hood, carbon mirrors, and a lip, and call it good. Anyway, hit me up! After I'm outta my "post beginner" status, I'll start posting up a lot more. Let me know what you think of my project!

Look nice, should get that tune as soon as possible before something bad happen. After tuned make sure to get a oil catch can, i blow my ring eventhough im fully tuned with Hondata but Blow by owned my ***. Prop for putting back on the oem bumper, oem is the best in my eyes.
