Sup guys,
Well i just installed some hood pins on my cf hood and now have a slight problem with closing the hood with the stock latch. Ive got to try closing it numerous times before the hoof will latch on. For the ones who have the same set up as me.. Did you guys still use the latch? Or did you completely take it out? Any suggestions? Should i try adjusting the latch up and down? Should that help? TIA

 

sounds like your pins are up too high

Why would that interfere with the hood latching with the latch in the first place? Since the pins go the hood smoothly, i dont think it matters that much that the pins are that high since you just push the locking pins in after the hood latches... Basically from what i see, the pin being high doesnt interfere with it.

And it i lower the hood any lower... it will cause the hood to be too snug since its touching my motor.

 

ehhh my pins are different then yours then mine are thin then they get fatter and wider.


you do know you can move the latch up and down. (the part thats on the car)

but since the only thing you did new was add hood pins i figured that must be whats wrongs
