Default itr or ctr piston in b20?

does anyone know if my motor would be alright runnin jus itr or ctr pistons on a stock b20? if its not would b16 be alright? also roughly how much of a power increase am i lookin to get? thanx

I think you'd have a little bit of blow by if you used either piston.

lol ^^

b20 bore = 84mm
itr and ctr bore = 81
I don't think you'll be using those pistons in a b20 any time soon.

For a B20B and a B20Z, you will have to go to the aftermarket in order to source different pistons.

The B20A is 81mm, but that's also some seriously uncharted territory with a motor that's not compatible with pretty much anything else (except the B21A).

If you are hell bent on using either of those pistons you will have to get the block sleeved first.

or we can trade blocks. i'll take your B20, you can have my LS. then you can use ITR or CTR pistons all you want.

Your best source is to use some high compression aftermarket pistons.
