ok i just bought my zc hatch about a week ago. everything has been fine until today. a few times when i've tried to start it today, it cranks runs for a few seconds then sputters badly then dies. i tried to give it some gas when it started dying but it didn't do anythin. once it does this it will do it even if u turn the key off and leave it for a few seconds. only way to make it work is give it a lot of gas soon as it cranks so it doesnt have a chance to go dead. i have a theory but it doesnt make sense. this was the 1st day since i've had the car that it was pretty warm(in the 80's) and it sat outside in the heat for about 8 hrs. when i had my stock crx si it would do the same thing when it had sat in the heat for a long period of time. it wouldnt do it if parked in the shade or if it was cool outside. dont really know if the weather has anythin to do with this but it seems like it might. anybody got any soultions?

 

I smell a main relay going bad... Or an ignitor. Or something really wierd.
