Default NGK BKR7E plugs...why for boost? and what other alternatives?

so I've had the same plugs in my N2O D16 as I now run in my turbo LS, and I was curious as to what my alternatives are.

I just changed my plugs, and after about 6K miles, the BKR7E plugs are really gas-fouled. They ran OK, with occasional misses, nothing major. What would be the next step hotter I could go to< and would it help with my gas issue? I'm not turning the fuel down, as @ 20 psi on 93 octane pump gas every day, I'm going to pour fuel in it until it pours out of the tailpipe.

I just would like to know if a next step hotter plug would benefit my fuel issues, or should I stick with the BKR7E like everybody else runs and sweat out the occasional poor performance...

Setup:
B18A
8:5.1 compression
stock ignition
T3/T4
720 cc injectors

if anything else is relevant, let me know and I will provide details...

Like you said, I drove with the BRK7Es (stock # 6097) in my d-series with spray a while back and I never had a problem with the performance.

Although I did change plugs every 1-2 bottles

if u are running stupid rich then u have answered ur own question
thats why they are fouled

i say , get it tuned right, get ur air fuels right and u shall see that they are going to last longer

i have those on my boosted D16 @ 9 psi daily beaten, , and i do run stupid rich 11-12 and they are fine

I ran the same plug in my turbo d series and I was having the same problem with them being a little easy to foul. I switched to the BKR6E(one step hotter), and it seems to be doing alot better but I am also only running 7 pounds of boost so if you do switch to a hotter plug be careful you dont get any detonation.

I have 7s in my ls turbo with no real problem. I would stick with the 7s so you dont risk detonation. I am using the zfr7j-11 but I wouldnt think that that would make a differnce.

I would say detonation. But why are your plugs getting so fouled. I have the 7s in my car and the burn perfect. No problem with gas fouling at all. I was wrong about the number of the plug I gave you. NGK doesnt make that anymore and when I got the plugs summit cross refrenced it for me. I will post it when I get home from work and look at the box.

you went on to bash this guy but if you are dumping that much fuel you are wiping any lubrication off your cylinder walls with fuel. dumping more fuel doesnt necessary lower intake charge temps, it just creates a slower burn in the combustion chamber. if you are worried about detnation maybe you should take some timing away instead of running more fuel????? just some suggestions. i was reading up about your setup and see that you had it tuned at P1 automotive. what are your A/F maps like??
edit: i've ran 7e's on two different turbo setups and never really had any problems but my setups were milder than yours

This is the plot of the car and it's A/F's in question.

I personally feel it is not "too" rich yet is rich enough to be considered safe........
