CEl Code 9 Questions
How's it going evryone. I have a 00 GSR and recently installed a Skunk2 intake manifold. I'm currently running my stock P72 ecu and have been running on the stock ecu w/ the manifold for about two weeks now. About a week after I installed the Skunk2 manifold, my ecu throw a code 9 which is No 1 cylinder position or cyp cylinder sensor. Has anyone ever got this code because of a manifold install? If so, what can I do to fix it? If it has nothing to do w/ the manifold install what is it? I've searched around and have not gotten any real answers. I don't even know where the sensor is. I actually thought obd1 and obd2 codes are different, but from what I've searched around on, supposedly the codes are the same for integras. I had my friend plug in his diagnostic reader, or whqatever you call it, to see why my ecu throew a cel and it said that it was my evap sensor or evap canister. If this is the reason why my ecu is throwing a code, then I'm not too worried about it because I'm not running the evap canister due to the Skunk2 intake manifold.
All comments and help is appreciated. Also, I am currently waiting on a P28 and will not be running the P72 once it comes in the mail.
