this is my daily driver and i need to get it up and running
i have a dohc zc in a 91 hf crx
when i drive the car it runs fine and when i start the car it runs fine but when i am driving and i down shift or stop ant a light it putters and slowly dies?
i have a new fuel filter and a new fuel pump so i don't think that's why it messing up it seems to me that it is flooding out and my mouth old spark plugs look pretty black
it was throwing a code 1 and 9
9 is the cyp so i looked it up in my maul and it said it was a censer in the dizzy so i replace that but it still runs like this
I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON!
some times it runs fine but most the time it runs like ****.

If you have a DOHC ZC the CPS is not in the dizzy, it's on the front dizzy side of the valve cover.
Edit: I think that's where teh CPS is, it's been a looong time since I've had my EF......

Does the code 9 set as soon as you start the car?? if so probably caused by wiring or sensor failure
BUT code 9 on a ZC CAN be caused by timing belt misalignment. Mine was off by a tooth and would only set the code under certain driving conditions. timing belt alignment may also explain stalling condition
