i recently swapped in a d16z6 into my 88 crx dx. im using a obd0-obd1 jumper harness, and obd1 Distributor. and using OBD1 injectors without the resistor box. and the car wont start. it cranks, theres fuel but it doesnt start. PLEASE HELP ME.

 

You said there is fuel but, is there spark?

 

my friend said there was little spark.

 

do you throw any codes?

 

well i recently noticed something, the starter just cranks the motor and then just dies. Even if you hold the key in crank position it would just crank like 2 times then stop. normally it would crank forever.

 

and also when you try to start the car. you crank it and it cranks like 2 times cam gear turns counter-clockwise then wen it stops cranking it turns clockwise..thats kinda wierd.

 

i had that problem too, till i changed spark plugs/plug wires

 

yea for some reason. my dseries spark plug wires dont like click in. or like theres a little gap between the top of spark plug wire and the valve cover.
