Default Component speakers in 4th gen Preludes

Do components in the front work well in stock locations? There is supossedly a tweeter stock on each side of the dash. So would 6.5 components in the front work well in stock locations. can the tweeter fit and work well in the stock dash spot.
Are there problems with sound separation or anything?

Also what brands do u recommend?

I personally don't worry about upgrading the sound in my car, but since I bought mine with one tweeter not working, I was gonna replace them anyway. I honestly don't see how a 6.5 could fit in the stock location of where the dash is. They are really easy to remove though, just play around with them and tug a little bit and you can get behind them, you might be able to find enough room, if they go inside the dash, instead of just behind the little tweeterbox thing sitting on the dash, but I don't know how much sound quality you would get from them being that far back inside the car.

If you make a braket and squeeze it in there then a 4" will fit with the tweeter on the other side. I only know cause that's what I did on mine. I have a 4" Polk Audio mid w/ a Polk Audio Tweeter. Sounds very nice, and with the tweeters aimed off it gives very nice imaging.

JL Audio are the best sounding in my opinion. MB Quartz are also very good. When it comes to audio installs you can make anything fit.

Nothing on my prelude. I built a wall of MDF board behind the back seat in my civic EX and put two free air JL Audio 10" subwoofers(IB4s) in. Then I ripped out my back speakers and fiberglassed the back deck over.
