Default Stock si tranny

did quite a few searches... but i couldnt find... what is the max hp you could push out of the tranny? stock tranny that is....

More than you'd be able to make, unless you were building an all out drag car. But then again if you were building an all out drag car.. you wouldn't be running a stock tranny. I'd be more concerned about the clutch and axles.

If you're talking about an Automatic.. they'll handle some bolt-ons but if you have any kind of forced induction, it won't last.

no no sorry worded that weird.. i guess... but yes what i was wondering was how much power you could push "thru" the tranny....

i was just having a debate with someone and i was just hoping for a rough estimate on how much hp the stock tranny could withstand...

not to sure but just like Project EJONE said, I'd be more concerned about your clutch and axles.
