Default engine honing

my block [cylinders] are being honed. would this necessarily require an over bored piston? or would the stock piston and rings be fine with a light hone?

i was told by my machinist that the piston MIGHT have to be a little bigger because of the honing process. i dont want to have to buy another set of pistons since i already have my p73-00's. any info guys?

you wont need a larger piston if its just getting honed, unless the motor has been rebuild a couple of times

should be fine. Just be sure to check piston to wall clearance and ring gap to verify afterwards.

unless the block has been honed multiple times it should be fine. just check the rings are sealing with feeler gauges should show you how to do it in your manual.
