Default JDM SRS MOMO WHEEL INFO

I want to buy a JDM ITR SRS MOMO steering wheel, for my 1995 USDM DC4.

here is the question, I need to know if there is a specific year that the wheel has to be from? or if they are all the same to make sure the SRS will work.

I have done research and all I know is that there is 2 SRS plugs, one with 2 wires one with 4 wires. Which do I have and how do I make it work with the SRS.

if you have any info from experience of installing this wheel and making sure the SRS works let me know.

also has anyone who installed this wheel had to SRS deployed?

The JDM MOMO SRS wheel was made from 96-01. It has OBD2 SRS plugs with self shorting plugs. They are 2 wires and do not plug into 94-95 Integra SRS wires because of the self shorting plugs.

However they are plug and play in 96-01 integra. Not required but JDM SRS cable reel recommended. Good luck. If you decide to unpin the harness and swap it, just keep in mind if the Airbags go off while your unpinning the harness it will most likely kill you instantly.

do a search under the user name "canuck mx-6".

Wayne had a functioning itr srs momo wheel in his 94/95 gsr and figured out how to swap the connector.

you can't jsut put it on. you would be able to use the same cabel real but you would have to leave the srs plugs disconnected, which is a problem because you have to find a plaece to hide them that won't interfere with the turning of the steering wheel. I suggest you sell it and buy a MOM itr non srs wheel. i have perfect instructions and know the resistor you need to actually rengage the Passenger airbag to turn off the SRS light becauyse the driver side is disconnected.

I heard if you disable the driver airbag, it will automatically disable the passenger airbag too.

as already mentioned, not plug & plya for 94-95 tegs, only 96-01 tegs.

you will have to repin the srs connector on the jdm itr srs w/ your usdm 94-95 srs plug.
