i think you should post what block you have, ie gsr or ls or b20 block. if you use the squirters in a b20 block w/ ls crank i heard some people chipping the squirters. i'm about to use a gsr crank in a b20 block and I think i'll be safe from chipping the squirters. if you are getting forged pistons, i don't think you should be worried of the squirters unless they were stock pistons.

I put a LS crank in a GSR block and was able to keep the Oil Squitters. They needed to be notched alittle bit though.

If you are going with a stroked crank i am going to assume that u are going to be running forged rods and pistons. If this is the case then u dont need the squirters. The squirters are for cooling the pistons, but forged materials have a much better tolerance of heat and also have better cooling properties.

Unless u are going to run and OEM pistons i wouldn't concern yourself with squirters, and even then i wouldnt make it a big deal.

Well from the jist of it, hes talking about oil squirters. Only vtec engines have oil squirters?

And in your case, a gs-r crank would work fine in a b20 block because there are no oil squirters in non-vtec blocks (from the factory).

a gsr crank would work fine in a b20 but it wouldnt be a 2liter anymore. He wants to put in a bigger crank not a smaller one.

Exactly, Jay, you are running forged pistons, correct? just cap off the squirters so you wont have to worry about bending/grinding.

if you are using forged pistons, cap them off. Less oil sticking to the bottom of the pistons = lighter pistons.
