Help! no brake lights
After noticing all of my brake lights on my 4th gen had gone out i checked the fuse and sure enough it was blown, but after replacing it the fuse shortly blew again. i'm guessing there is a short in the wiring but i am not sure how or where to look for it. Any suggestions are welcome cuz i would like to fix it so i can drive it again. Thanks

that's stupid. Honda put that size there for a reason and who knows the object with the short could pull enough current to hurt something else. Go through your manual and find all the items on that curcuit and start tracing it with a voltimeter. i had a similar problem but with just my tail lights. i found out that it was my brightness control unit had come slightly unplugged. it was on the same circuit as the taillights and something to do with the cruise control. chase it down and you will be happy you did

Always only replace a fuse with another of the same rating, putting in higher fuses than were intended can lead to fire. The easiest thing to do first is check all around the bulb holders and wiring in the trunk, in particular any wiring that rests on metal to see if it's chaffed away and causing a short.
This same sort of thing happened to me.(although I believe it was caused by some kid who bashed my car with a hammer.) What I ended up having to do was just start taking things apart. I pulled the tailights and checked for bad grounds. Then magically without even finding a problem that was noticable they worked. I am sure something is just grounded wrong.
Good luck.
