Yesterday, my wife came home and the car just won't go INTO park, so we can't get the key out either. Any easy fixes or does this have to go to the dealer?

It's NOT stuck in park where there is a safety release to get it out. It's the OPPOSITE problem.

One question I have, When she tried to put in park, did it make a buzzing noise in the tranny? Like a mild grinding? I have seen this on hondas in the past. A nut inside the tranny backs off, which will cause the car not to engage into park.
