i took out my SOHC head (top)

Default i took out my SOHC head (top)

hmm i took out my D16z6 upper head (camshaft, springs, valves..etc are still inside)...and they hella dirty with nasty oil smell....

what should i buy to clean the head good...anyone have done it before please let me know thanx

thats if the head is on the car....or do you mean you took off the valvecover??? if so put it back on and run seafoam through the car , do a search on how to use it.

well i took off the valvecover out then the head.....the head itseld still have camshaft, valves, and springs...inside....

oh yeah where can i get those seafoam...and should i take springs...valves and camshaft off the head and get them clean? or what

well if im going to clean the bottom block can i still use seafoam

lol, does'nt seafoam need heat to work, hence why you need the car running/warmed up. Just bring it to a machine shop, have them steam clean it for 25-35 bucks. Comes out brand new. done.

I got mine pressure tested and cleaned for 30.00

my engine is out of the car already...too hard to find a steam or hot tank around my area....and dann...i just did porting on the IM inlet ports...larger and smoother look nice at hell

Start calling machine shops, they almost always have them
