You can use your old h23 harness.

You'll just have to wire vtec to your new ecu.

You can use the thread above to do that

i have read the site you guys posted and it has helped a lot, but the only thing i am stuck on is the "p13" ecu...the ecu i recieved with the h22a has 4 connectors in it, and the diagrams i see on here only show 3....but there is a tag on the v-tec ecu and it has some #'s on it with a p13 in the middle so i take it that is what it is.....so what is the 4th connector? it has 4 wires in it off the harness: green/red stripe ; green/white stripe; green/yellow stripe; blue....help me please.

my stock obd2b wire harness was really chopped up and jumped by the previous owner's ricer wiring, is it easy to find a new/slightly used obd2b wire harness? how much are they ussually?

You have to be careful there are JDM P13's that are manual that have 4 plugs. the fourth connector is for the traction control feature that was found on some models. So just because it has 4 plugs doesn't not mean that its and auto ecu, but you are correct on this one that it is for an auto.

As far as the fourth connector, I believe that is for the traction control feature for the JDM cars and has nothing to do with v-tec. I could be wrong but I have never seen a USDM auto ECU to compare it with.

the reason i suggested it was an auto ecu is the fact that the sticker ID's it as an atuo ecu, thus the AT on it.

so if it is traction control, would it hurt anything if i just left it unhooked?
