installed DC header, now i have a problems =\
i installed a DC 4-2-1 SS header on my LS.
during the install, one stud on the head for the manifold broke off, is that anything major?
and now at 1400 rpms there is a loud rattle. my bro kept it there while i looked and its the heat shield for the cat. anyway to fix this?
thanks

the bolts on the manifold break off easily if you're not careful, its not that uncommon of a thing- everything can run properly if the other bolts are tightened down enough, but its something you should look into fixing eventually. as for the rattling, are you referring to the heatshield above the cat or the cat's actual heatshield? if its the cat's, you could remove it if need be, but try adjusting the heatshield above it (bend it if you need to). also you might want to try playing around with the rubber hangers some.
for tips on how to fix it, check this thread out: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=567450

To prevent this in the future, use a shop manual and a torque wrench.
