Default Miles on a turbo kit

How many miles is too many on a turbo kit? Whats a safe amount of miles to buy a turbo kit with? Thinking about buying a used kit and just want some opinions. thanks

the only thing critical in a basic turbo kit is the turbo. just check for shaft play. if you think about it everything else is just pipes besides the wg and bov.

i've had the greddy kit on for at least 3 years and 30,000 miles now. it seems to be in good condition still

If its a well taken care of turbo kit it should last pretty decent, but if it wasnt ever aloud to cool down or ran w/ no filter for a while it could get in ugly shape pretty fast. Just have some1 that knows abou turbos come with you to check out the shaft play and fin condition. good luck

Well, If he had a shitty oil return and turned the motor off right after boosting, you may run into some problems. Either way, if the rest of the parts are still good, a new turbo really isn't that expensive. I got my GT32e for $585 shipped, brand spankin new.
