Anybody hear of "hard spots" in brake pads?
Mechanic told me today the reason my Front brakes started squealing all the time is there is a "hard spot" in one of the EBC pads.
Anyone know about this?

Can happen with metallic pads. Too much metal in part of the pad and not enough of the organic compound. You won't find this happening in factory pads. Usually happens with cheaper pads.
