Default Overbore sleeves for D-series - open or closed deck

Hey yawl,
I'm interested in hearing experiences from D-series owners that did a big overbore for racing. This will be an autocross car which needs to be durable but it's a full-on racecar. Not a street car.

My specific questions is whether a closed or semi-closed deck works well?? Has anyone had any good results or bad? We are looking to run as big a bore as possible and willing to spend the money to do what's best.

Chris

What exactly do you mean by semi-closed vs. closed?
