Default code check for 94 civic

I don't understand where to find the thing that you have to put the wire to make the "loop" so you can check what code your getting. My check engine light came on just recently and i need to find out how to do the check.

Default Re: code check for 94 civic (94CivicDx5spd)

it is under the passenger kick plate. Right under the glove box there is a lip and somewhere behind there, or by the ecu there is a wire with a 2 hole plug. that is where you put the wires into.

I can't figure out how to insert a pic but here is a helpful link.
