Default high flow cat

I recently just got a high flow cat but i havnt put it on yet because im scared of what my exhaust will sound like. Does any one know if your put a high flow cat on does it make ur exhaust fart. When i put my header on it made my exhaust a lot louder. My other ? is should i go get a world sport or should i just put some new resonators on my greddy?

Only one way to find out my friend, put the biatch on! Dont rely on other peoples opinion about the way it sounds because some people are picky about it, and just a slight change in tone will get different opinions.

Just put it on and give it a shot, its not like its pernament, you could always slap on the stock cat.

Besides, test pipes affect the sound more than highflows.

Hi flow cats aren't really meant for the people who care about the tone of their exhaust...

it's to free up exhaust flow and release some robbed HP... not to give your exhaust a cool sound or add a notch on your mod list...

with that said.... if you got a real hi flow cat like a random tech or carsound then it will marginally change the sound... if you got a test pipe or an ebay type resonated test pipe it should mainly change the pitch to a higher one...

the sound of the exhaust has more to do with the exhaust then the header or cat...

I have a resonated test pipe and with a modified chikara torque step header and a DC exhaust it did get noticeably higher pitched...no real farty sound...but in all honesty the DC exhaust is pretty deep and bassy to begin with...

a lil noise never hurt anyone. I love the sporty not extrememly loud unless you floor it exhaust. just my opinion. I run a DC header, test pipe, Apex Dunk Megaphone catback...its got nice sound but not too loud unless i give it some gas....it only farts when i let of the gas.
