Default Curious about carbon fiber installion on my 01 ITR

Before anyone asks I have searched the active and archive files for what I'm asking about. I am putting the CF hatch on my 01 ITR. Now the question i have was what did you do to put the latching system in the new CF one. Cause if I remember correctly it is motorized inside the hatch and not within the car itself since it is considered a third door.

Also, any pointers on it's installation. Install the FAL window before or after the hatch is installed on my car??

Thanks in advance!

Huh?

Go look again cause my stock hatch, has a metal "D" or metal loop that protrudes and enters the mechanical "motorized" part as you describe between the tail lights in the rear of the car above the key hole.

Transfer all your stock parts over.

Find 'NiceDC2" in this forum. He runs a CF hatch.

Kinda counterproductive, though.... add all that weight back in with the stock parts after you add a CF hatch. Just get the clamp thingies like on some integra racekaas.
