Trunk release?
I have a trunk release button on my clifford keyless entry and was curious what would have to be done to get that wired to my hatch?
ANd is it possible to have that if you have a carbon fiber hatch?

trunk release
Not to familiar with the clifford keyless entry, but you would have to at least put some sort of selenoid in.. You need something simliar to these, but for 1 door http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...47&D=%2D118747. I'm sure if you got into some wiring diagrams you could make it happen. Carbon fiber hatch shouldn't matter as long as it has the same latches the stock hatch has (which it should) You would just have to mount a selenoid somewhere to "pop" the hatch open. It will be a lot of pissing around. I would like to do this some day because I shaved the key hole on my hatch and I can only open it from inside the car.

Thanks bro, this really helped.
I want to do it because we have a clifford system and its VERY touchy (which is good) and you cannot unlock anything with the key you have to use the remote because it will think the locks are being popped and it will set the alarm off. My dad has a 05 sentra ser spec v and it has the trunk release wired and its really nice.
