the problem
my friend has a automatic crx with a zc swap in it.
the shop that did it fucked it up badly and we have no idea whats what in it shis cut wires that go to no where.....
from what i know is on a zc swap is that you need to convert it from dpi to mfpi and add the wires to the ecu.
whats happing is the car shuts down with the alt pluged in and and when it unpluged it it has a rev limit of 3000 rpms. the wires are a mess and what i am asking is do you think i should get a whole wiring harness from a obd 0 automatic teg? i am unable to find out what the problems are from my know how.

your best bet would be to start from the beginning. Find the MPFI swap guide and go through it make sure all the wires are where they are supposed to be and go from there.
check for engine codes as well.... the 3000rpm limit is because your in limp mode. usually that has something do to with c8 - c10 i think....check the guide.

From the sounds of it...
1) Demand your money Back
2) After you have gotten money retrieved go pickup new harness
3) With new harness fix it up for MPFI taking in for account the location of the CPS
4) Drink Beer or beverage of choice

its not my car they went to me for help cuz i did my swap..... **** all we did was add three wires and wham it was done for my swap.
the story:
friend A bought the swap and brought to a shop in town called pros. Pros didn't know what they were doing and had a long time and rang up a big bill and said the car was done( they had it for a year). friend A did not have the money to get it out and Pros were like pay for or the car is ours... friend B paid for the car and end up getting it from friend A for cheap. the friend A dont want anything to do with it i dont think friend B can sue em for the bad work.

Holy **** I would be really pissed at that place. Ok what I would do is find someone local that knows what they are doing, Im sure there has to be someone. Give a shout out on this board and someone may come to the rescue. If that doesnt work, I would go to a junkyard or ebay or something and buy a completley un-modified or hacked engine harness for the car NOT engine. Unplug the old engine harness making sure to remember which plugs go where. Dont be too worried, just look at it and you will see how it goes on the engine. I was scared my first time taking that **** off but it goes back together pretty simple, self explanatory. Then all you should have to do is go to an MPFI swap guide page and follow it, its not too hard. Check this out there is some good info on it here-->http://www.d-series.org/forums...=7811
P.S. If you or your friend seriuosly cant do anything about the shops horrible job, I would spread the word about their shitty service meaning they get NONE
