Default Turbo d15b VS. 220K d16z6 turbo?

I really am stuck on wat to do..i dont kno whether to turbo this Si hatch w/ the stock d16z6 or jus order a d15b for $400 and wear it in for a few months then slap a apexi turbo kit on it. Or should i rebuild my d16z6...such as new pistons, maybe a semi-built head? But, wat pistons should i get for a turbo d16z6? please let me kno wat u think i should do.. thanks.. peace

Get eagle rods and arias or je srp pistons for your d16z6, and have a valve job done, or get a cam with stiffer valve springs if money permits.

This is just my opinion and there are plenty of manufacturers out there, but if you don't mind not driving your car for a while, might as well build your 1.6 than buy an extra 1.5 motor.

don't buy a d15! if you wanna stay cheap, use some suzuki pistons and either shot-peened ls rods or a set of eagle or crower econo rods. they are not very pricey and you will at least know what is up with your motor...if you get a d15 in the mail you still don't know what the motor has been through, jsut that it MIGHT have less miles...the d16z6 is a great motor..if you look around the boost forum you will see that a lot of guys are making great numbers with them good luck
