Default d15b7 rods in d16z6??

i have a d16z6 motor that was going to turbo and i have h-beam rods in and i just noticed that they dont have enough clearance and are hitting the piston walls but i dont have enough money to take the block to a machine shop to get that problem fixed so im just going to put stock rods and pistons back in and sell the other stuff i was going to do a turbo seeing how i plan on selling the car any ways i dont even want to bother any more

so i dont have my stock ones b/c my dad threw them away b/c he didnt see the need of me hanging on to them any more b/c i was puttin new ones in so i found a set online that are for sale but they're from a d15b7 and says it should work for my car but hes not a 100% sure so would i be able to use them with no mods or problems??

almost certain it's a no go, since the d15s and d16s have different strokes, hence different rods.

well i kno that they have different strokes but the guys selling em said he couldnt remember if its the actually rod or if its the crankshaft b/c if its the crank then i could use them but if the rods are different then no but i just wanted to make sure b4 i actually buy them

yea i still have everything i dont want to sell them id like to make my car work with them but im having someone coming over right now to help me check some stuff out first b4 i make up my mind if he does all the test on it and everything is fine and its for sure the stuff i put in causing the prob then yes ill sell em and put stock back in but if we can figure it out im gonna go ahead with my plan

well good news there is nothing wrong with my car did all the test and my motor is strong and very healthy just needs to be broken in and i have too much air flow in the car b/c i have no exhaust on the car which isnt giving it that back preasure so its making the idle of the car bounce up and down but it runs just fine for a sec then it does it so yea im happy i was getting worried

but sry im keeping all my turbo stuff ill post again when i have it all said and done
