will my pt-sc61 get me to 500whp
if so where will it start to go out on me?

.60a/r on compressor side and .63 on exhuast

 

efficient around 12psi plus.... very good turbo for good powerband mid to high range.. 500 very possible with good tune..

Hybrid901 made I think it was 540 WHP with an SC61. Lots of potential.

 

normally witha 2.0l 9:1 compression ls bottom end and b16 head what boost pressure will i see 500 or so. i know psi i irrelevant to horespower but what have other people made it at

I'd say anywhere from 20-26 psi.

 

I made 406whp and 291 tq with my SC61 at 12 psi. This was at 7500 rpms, couldnt rev higher cause I had ignition problems.
This is a built GSR 1.9L, 9:1 compression, stock head portwise.

Pump gas? 93octane?

Yes, and yes. 23.1 degrees timing in it. IAT's were around 70.

Yeah, air temp definetly played a role. But hell, Im happy with it. Too bad I retired that setup though. Last night I just finished putting on the new turbo and wastegate.
