now i recently swapped my 97 honda prelude engine...i was told that it was a 96 engine and has an external coil....i swapped it for a 98 jdm engine...which has an internal coil im told...now what distributor would i run of the new engine...and what computer (ecm..ecu?) would i run...and what type of rewiring would i have to do for my car to run.....anyones help would be greatly appreciated....

 

there are a couple threads here that will help you do a search (make sure you check the archived box) sorry i dont feel like looking for you tonite.
you can use the internal coil you just splice 2 wires together.

why would you want to do that isnt external coil ignition type better ?
