theblaster 2 coil should be a direct replacement, however...the MSD 6AL is for an engine with a distributor. I'm pretty sure your car runs off of coil packs, which means you bought a 200 dollar red brick that will do you no good at all. You need to get an MSD DIS (distributor-less ignition system) for your car, which you can order with a rev-control like the 6AL.
I will give you a piece of advice, though. If you're prelude is a 5-speed, the only "rev-control" you need is your left foot and your right hand. don't waste your money on the rev-control model...it's for automatics more than 5-speeds.
edit: the instructions for the coil and the msd ignition that you need are pretty good and shouldn't be hard to follow

If you have a Prelude, you have a distributor.

ah, my bad, don't know what I was thinking to me. the MSD shouldn't be hard to wire up seeing as you have to cut like four wires on teh distributor and the coil and splice em with the MSD's. just follow the instructions. it's hard to **** up.
