5 inch tach tryin to mount it to a 92vx hatch with a full 2000 gsr swap??wiring Q??
Hey there i just picked up a 92 hatch with the tach on the gauge cluster but it doesn't work and the speedometer doesnt work all the time either sumtimes it will kick on tho. The problem is theres a tach in it and the light inside the the tach goes on but the tach doesnt move when i revv it, i dont think all the wires are hooked up. Please tell me exactly where to hook the wires to and how and what to splice also thanks, i would appreciate it, and also i have a shiftlight, does that just get wired to the tach itself or do i have to do another while wiring setup for that, thanks again, also what do i do about the speedo not working. should i get a new cluster?

you have to find the tach signal.
You can either do it by ECU or finding the signal wire at the back of the cluster.
But first you have to figure out why ur cluster is not working right.

2000 GSR swaps dont have a tach wire in the distributor like the other models do. You have to run a wire from behind the gauge cluster to the ecu. Then the Tach will work just fine. As for the Speedo I dont know on that. Check your vss wires.
