keeping company with ross & ben: my accident
this happened in august; since then my car has been completely fixed and runs like new.
a woman ran a red light as i was turning left; surprisingly enough, she was also driving an integra. yes, she tagged me right on the "integra."
the short list of damaged parts: bumper, both left & right quarterpanels, hood, both headlights, turn signal, ac compressor, and some time on the "rack"
what you are seeing is a car with it's frame bent such that the motor is twisted on it's mounts. what you can't see is how the frame is bent inward enough to touch the the crank pulley. a slightly harder hit would have munched the motor.
all said and done, there are a few cosmetic blemishes but the paint matches perfectly, the frame is straight, and the car put down nearly 169whp (sae corrected).
an accident like this really teaches you that it's just a car. a car that is made to driven hard, not to be coddled with waxes and jdm clock blockers.
ross, good luck.
