figure i'd get a better response in here for this sleeving question
Can a block be resleeved to go 4 mm larger? or is that too large to try to resleeve it to? also, if that is possible to do, what would you use for a headgasket, or would the stock head gasket work, even though the cylinder walls are now 4 mm larger? any thoughts anyone?
I have seen blocks sleeved up to 85mm. Cometic, Golden eagle and a few other companies make headgaskets especially for larger bores sizes. I beleive GE uses OEM gaskets and bores them to what ever size you need.

it's more or less for convenience then because i want to go that big - i have a motor that has an 83 mm bore and i can use rods from another motor because they are the same, and i could use those pistons too if i can resleeve and have that big of a bore on the motor, which is 87mm. if i can't go that big, then i would spend the extra money to get some custom pistons made, but i think that would be more expensive - i haven't looked into that too much yet, i was just checking my options first.
