ebrake question...probably retarded
i have an auto tragic...and I had to use an ebrake to park yesterday
when I drove the car afterwards...even with the ebrake down....it would still show the ebrake light until I tapped the brakes...is that normal or something wrong?

There's a little button switch under the handbrake lever. (Gotta take the console apart to see it.) Maybe it's bracket it bent so the lever doesn't always hit it properly??
Otherwise, it's just a coincidence. The brake fluid reservoir can also set off that light. There's a float-switch in the reservoir cap. Sometimes those get flaky, or maybe you're actually low on brake fluid?

What year is your? I have a 2000 and i got like 42k on it and i got that problem too, but i am waiting for my 45k service to deal with it. It goes away for me when i drive the car for a while, like once my brakes get warm from some stop and go. But ya that light is so bothersome...
