recently my speedometer would kick in and out as i shift hard. the problem is that now the speedometer has shut off completely and hasn't come back on again. the engine check light is now on and the odometer doesn't count miles either. On top of that, my cruise control doesn't work and my vtec doesn't work ne more :'(. Please help me!

 

Fix the wiring to your speed sensor or replace the speed sensor as needed. Inspect the connector closely for signs of corrosion-green stuff.

 

Dude its your vss. You vtec wont kick in because vtec needs to read at least 15 mph so it could kick in. i think . But I had this same exact problem and I bought the VSS and it took off. The speedometer shut off and my cel came on vtec wouldnt work . Same exact problem VSS.

 

something like that happened to me. my speedo would work fliker and work and die. Check the wiring ground at near the termostat housing.

i ran into the same problem. its your speedo fuse. the one in the bottom of your dash
