Default break in questions na b20/vtec w/ uberdata

im getting ready to run it for the first time tommorow and i just have a few questions. I am running a p28 chipped for uberdata with a gsr base map and I was told that the gsr base map may make the motor run too rich for the break in?? i thought that if anything it would be lean, anyways just wondering if anyone else has done this and what was the outcome or suggestions on what i should do. btw it has eagle rods and 11.5:1 je pistons.

Wideband O2 is your friend.

the p28 with a gsr base map should run borderline lean with the stock injectors and a 2L bottom end.

it might be ok for break-in but maybe try to add 2-3% more fuel everywhere. just to be safe. try to get a widband o2 to measure the A/F properly.

thanks for the advice guys, i bought a normal autometer air/fuel just to make sure it doesn't go too lean or rich until i make it to the dyno, is that sufficient or are those things a joke?

no they very accurate, just as accurate as a wideband, they just don't tell you how rich or how lean, which is why widebands are nice. If the autometer says your stoich, u can bet ur *** u actually are.
