Default summer time lean out?

Sup, havent been here for a while,

Have a mostly stock b16 on 8.5 psi right now. Got tuned in winter and the motor usually idled at around 14-15 a/f.. but now its summer and its been idling at about 17-18. Given that the air outisde is warmer wouldnt the tune theoretically rich out? cuz it seems that the overall map has leaned out just slightly. I duno if im retarded or something but i figured the cooler the ambient air the leaner the motor would run assuming how I drive is kept consistant =x?

you should have your o2 hooked up so you can run in closed loop

expletive closed loop.

normally your car should run richer during the summer (air is warmer = expands = less dense = less o2 molecules = too many fuel molecules per unit volume = running rich)

you might have something else going on.

Dont touch ur fuel tables! Look into your correction tables...adjust from there.

Not familiar with Hondata, but I'm sure it has correction tables for ECT and IAT. Probably what is happening is there is a multiplier that is too low in one or both tables making you run leaner

Adjustments in those tables should correct the problem.

I would also recommend running in closed loop. It adjusts for alot of changing weather variables, especially in a changing climate region.
