how is the auto trans in a civic dx and is there anything to make it last longer or parts to make the shifts a little firmer and is there nething i need to know about them its my girls car but i will be driving it some to cuz of these bullsh*t gas prices

 

B&M trickshift fluid will make the tranny feel more solid. it is about $5 a quart, but it is good stuff.

 

get an ignition upgrade like crane or msd. You can adjust your shifting points to your needs

 

B&M and Level10 are companies you want to deal with for "upgrading" a Slowmatic.

 

that works for me i dont need to agj. the shift points its my girls car i just dont like the way it feels i wish she would learn to drive a manual but oh well

I'm in SD. Highest prices in the nation.

 

i only have to put up with 205 a gal but my car only gets 17 mpg if im lucky
