hey well i bought this car a few months ago and just today when i got my car back from the paint shop, a alarm is going off every time i even open the door.

Basically theres a little LED by the drivers side Tweeter, and little Button , Underneath right near my Hood Pop button... and I found a little control box under the dash.. ( it has a a little **** on it).....


Theres no noise, just when i open the door the LED goes CRAZY and the front and rear bumper lights and headlights just flicker on and off going crazy...... and It wont let me start the car...

PLeasee help me disarm this.... i want to drive!

 

turn the key ignition to the on position, and then hit the little button. that should put it in valet. Then take it to a security specialist and have them either code a new remote to the unit or yank it out all together.

PLeasee help me disarm this.... i want to drive!</TD></TR></TABLE> Have them start by programing the passive arming OFF and hook up the siren that the guys at the paint shop cut just to shut the thing up 94

 

i really have no idea wher i could take htis... its being sucah bitch.. takes me like 15 minutes to figit with tehb utton to get it to start

u think teh body shop is responsible?

u think teh body shop is responsible?</TD></TR></TABLE> Unplug the power to the alarm or remove the alarm brain altogether, install jumper at relays, [if you still have problem starting the car] then you can take your time geting it fixed 94

 

is this waht the "brain is"

Litte black box (under dash) with a little Light (red led) on it.. and a small **** (that u could turn witha screwdriver as wel) and wires Feeding into it....

Litte black box (under dash) with a little Light (red led) on it.. and a small **** (that u could turn witha screwdriver as wel) and wires Feeding into it....</TD></TR></TABLE> No that will be the impact sen. it will have no more than 4 wires going to it, the "brain" will have no less then 10 wires and a few plugs with 2 or more wires,[LED, shock sen., override/program sw. doorlocks and so on] the only one you have to unplug is the one with the power on it, it will be the big one, it will have a red wire with a fuse on it. That will disable the alarm, and as long as the starter cut or ign. kill relays are wired normaly closed, you should have no more problems with the car starting or running, if on the other hand the relays are wired normaly open,you will have to unplug the relay and install a jumper,[ a short wire of the same gage with flat male spade term. on each end ] to make the connection. 94
