Default someone help?

Yesterday I was driving down my street and all of a sudden I hear this noise. The sound was like a ticking time bomb or somethin...TU tu tu tu...and all of a sudden my alarm goes off, my blinkers turn on and off. I have no clue what to do. I try to start the car it won't start. The alarm comes on and stays on for a about 4 minutes then turns off. I get out of the car press the alarm button to lock the doors, so it locks it and the red light inside my car flashes. so im thinking evrything is cool and all. So i press the button again to open the doors, the second i open the door the alarm goes off and the light is still flashin the blinkers are going crazy. PLZ someone help, leave any comments about what you think is wrong. thanks guys.

my car is a 94 civic ex.

I think nothing is wrong with your car. But your alarm is boogus. Who installed it for you, take it back to them and tell them to fix it.

when did you get the alarm system and what brand/model is it? could be an anti-carjacking feature....
