Look for used amps possibly ebay.

$300 for what you want is a little cheap. I don't think you will find anything really good over 500W for that price.

Audiobahn A8000T is a really nice clean sounding amp and got awesome reviews and I have heard nothing but good about it. You can find it for under $300 on eBay new or used. I don't know if you can new though.

Why does Audiobahn scare you. The first one looks a little scray to me in that link but the others look ok. JBL makes some decent amps but they arnt the best and cost a little more than I think the are worth. JL makes awesome amps but are to expensive compared to similar brands. Kicker also makes good stuff but I still prefer Audiobahn as I never liked how Kicker's sounded but it may have been the kicker subs I don't know I just didn't like them but it is a personal prefrence. Just stay away from Sony. That is the most important thing.

Actually

JBL, Kicker, Hifonics - these are some of the better budget amplifier names out there. Some of them can really provide some nice power!

I'd take those over Audiobahn.

I wouldn't neglect the used-amp market. Some good deals sometimes...

Maybe Autotek, PPI...dunno too many names and sell-outs and generations of amps within the same company... I'm starting to forget these things.

I have an 800 Watt Blue Kenwood amp. If you can pricematch or give me a good price let me know if you want to buy them. Thanks.
