GSR Block LS Crank - Oil Squirters?
I found a few posts with different opinions on this... many people put LS bottom ends in GSR motors (pretty much a ls/vtec with a gsr block) - and some say it fits fine while others say you need to grind a bit off of the oil squirters for clearance. Has anyone had any experience with this? ---
Also just want to confirm... if you put a thinner head gasket in - endyn says .012" = 1 degree of cam timing? - this seems like the most accurate number.
If it matters- The setup is a GSR motor w/LS crank, eagle LS rods, arias 10.4 pistons (hoping for something like 10.6-11 compression w/head gasket) -- haven't decided on head parts yet... going to be something like stage 2 cams w/built valvetrain parts. And i have a N.O.S.- NOSzle kit - spraying 100-150 occassionally.
