hey fellas did a search and found mini me info but the none on my topic the y8 headgasket is cheaper than the a6 or b7 so can I do this and be alright, need economy for work so no mini me at tthis time. thanmks

 

also forgot ta ask I did a comp test on the d15 thats in the car right now had 128 psi on piston 4, and all the rest were 40 to 50 psi, some tell me I need new rings and can not be the head or headgasket others tell me diff. Don't know how to do leak down or have compressor so whats the prob u figure

 

Yes thke y8 headgasket will work on the d16 head or d15 head on a d15 or d16 block and the numbers on your cylinder compression test proves the autozone puke wrong its not the rings that are shot but your headgasket.
